To
search for a private swimming instructor:
1. Click on the "Private
Lessons" tab at the top of your page.
2. Enter your zip/postal code into
the search box and click on the "Search" button to view your
search results.
3. Click on any listing to learn more about the swimming lesson.
That's it! You can contact the instructor to schedule lessons by
clicking on the "Contact Instructor" button and filling out the
form provided. You should hear back from the instructor within 48
hours.

To
search the Open Directory:
1. Click on the "Directory" tab at the
top of your page.
2. Enter your zip/postal code into the search box. You can also narrow
your search by selecting the type of listing that you are looking for.
3. Click on the search button at the bottom of the form to view your
search results. Just click on any directory listing to learn more
about it.

To
search for a job:
1. Click on the "Jobs" tab at the
top of your page.
2. Enter your zip/postal code into the search box and select the type of
listing you are looking
for.
3. Click on the search button at the bottom of the form to view your

the job.

do I contact a private instructor? |
| Once
you have found a private lesson you are interested in, click on the
"Contact Instructor" button located at the top of the page. Use
the form provided to send an email to the private instructor. The
instructor should get back to you within 48 hours.

do I contact an Open Directory Editor? |
| To
contact the Editor of an open Directory listing, simply click on the
"Contact Editor" button at the top of the listing page and use
the form provided to send the Editor an email. Be sure to include your
name and email address if you expect a response.

do I open an account? |
To
open a ClubSwim account:
1. Click on where it says "Join now, it's FREE" on the welcome
page.
2. Fill out the online registration form. Fields marked with a red arrow ( )
are required.
3. Click on the "Join Now" button at the bottom of the form.
4. Fill out the optional survey question on the next page, then click on
the "Finish" button.
That's it! Once you've opened an account you can add listings to the Open
Directory, sign up as a private instructor, or post your job openings on
the Job Board.

How to add a listing to the Open Directory…

Share information about the swimming schools, teams, camps, and pools in your community FOR FREE by becoming a ClubSwim Editor. As an Editor you can add listings to the Open Directory. It’s EASY! Just follow these four simple steps…
1. Log in to your ClubSwim account. If you don’t have an account yet, just click here to open one for FREE…
2. Once you’ve logged in, click on the “Your Account” button at the top right corner of your screen. This will send you to the “Account Overview” page.
3. You’ll see a list of listing types in the center of your screen. Find the type of listing you would like to submit to the Open Directory and click on the orange “ADD” button next to it.
4. Fill out the form and click on the “Submit” button.
That’s it! The information you submit will instantly be added to the Open Directory. And remember, at any time you can return to ClubSwim.com to update your listing.

If the listing doesn’t have an Editor…
1. Click on the “Edit This Listing” button at the top of the page.
2. You need to have an account to update a listing. If you already have an account, you will be taken to the login in page. Login to proceed. If you
do not have an account yet, just complete our simple registration form. It’s FAST and FREE!
3. Update the information and click on the “Submit” button.

3. Choose the type of listing you would like to update from the list in the center of your screen. Click on the listing type to go to the “Your Listings” page.
4. Click on the name of the listing you would like to update.
5. Update the submission form and click the “Submit” button.

How to transfer a listing…
|
|
Don’t want to be the Editor of a listing anymore? No problem. Just transfer control of the listing back to ClubSwim. To transer a listing, login to your account, go to your “Account Overview” page and select the type of listing you wish to transfer from the menu in the center of your screen. Next click on the word “transfer” to the right of the name of the listing you would like to remove from your account. That’s it.

How to delete a listing…
|
|
To delete a listing from your account, login and click on the “Your Account” button at the top right corner of your screen. Click on the type of listing you would like to delete, then click on the word “delete” to the right of the listing name. You should only delete listings that no longer exist. If you no longer want to be the Editor of a listing, just transfer it back to ClubSwim.

What if I’d like to update a listing, but it already has an Editor?
|
To update a listing that already has an Editor, you have two options:
Option 1 – Find the listing in the Open Directory. Next click on the listing name to view it in greater detail. Then click on the “Contact Editor” button at the top of the page. Use the form provided to send the Editor the information that you would like to see updated.
Option 2 – If you feel that you should be the Editor of the listing, send us a request to transfer the listing to your account at
support@clubswim.com. Be sure to include the name of the listing along with your request. If we grant your request, you become the new Editor and can update the listing from your account.

Yes! We welcome anyone in the swimming community to help us maintain the listings in the Open Directory.

How many listings can I be the Editor of?
|

You may submit an unlimited amount of NEW listings to the Open Directory. However, to prevent abuse of the system we only allow you to become the Editor of up to three listings that you did not create (listings that already exist in the directory). If you would like us to increase your limit, send a request to
support@clubswim.com.

What if somebody wants to edit one of my listings?
|
|
Under rare circumstances, we might transfer one of your listings to another user’s account because this user has a higher association with the listing than you do. Examples of a high level of association are the coach of a team, manager of a pool, director of a camp, or owner of a swim school. If you would like us to review our decision to transfer one of your listings, send a request to
support@clubswim.com.

What if an Editor posts false information or abuses the Directory?
|
|
We expect Editors to post current and accurate information in the Open Directory. Those who fail to meet these expectations will lose their right to edit directory listings. Users who use their Editor privileges to engage in inappropriate, unethical, or illegal activities will be banned from ClubSwim.

When you want to remove your posting from the Job Board, simply log in to your account and click on where it says “Job Postings” at the bottom of your navigation bar. The navigation bar is located on the left hand side of your screen. Find the name of the job posting you wish to remove and click on the word “delete” located to its right. After you confirm that you want to delete your job posting, it will be removed from the Job Board.
